Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Ballard & Friend was founded originally in 1951 under the firm name of Hill, Brown, Kronzer and Abraham, consisting of John L. Hill, J. Curtiss Brown, West. James Kronzer and Frank T. Abraham, all graduates of the University of Texas Law School. The firm began with a general practice of civil liability cases with emphasis on personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, admiralty, railroad, aviation and general tort law.
