He holds an Master of Fine Arts in art critical practices from The Ohio State University, an Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Art from San Francisco State University, and a Bachelor in Liberal Arts with a philosophy minor from the University of Central Florida.

He is known mostly in the field of social practice. He has lectured or presented at SFMOMA, basekamp, Skydive, California College of the Arts, and the University of Houston among others He organized, along with Stephen Wright, the online conference "Cutting Slack: paradoxes of slackerdom."
