Randolph Joseph Nudo, American Neuroscientist, educator. Achievements include demonstration that 2-Deoxyglucose is a marker for inhibitory synaptic activity in the central nervous system, that primates possess a unique source of corticospinal neurons, the major direct, descending pathway from cerebral cortex to spinal cord motor neurons.
