Career
Wood"s father Norman was the coach of the Princeton University hockey team from 1959 to 1965. Although Wood was born in New Jersey, he was raised in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. He has two sons currently playing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Tyler, a junior with the Brown Bears, and Miles, a freshman for Boston College.
Miles was drafted 100th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2013 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
