Career
Dr. Raphael M. Wambua has grown from humble beginnings to become a University Lecturer and Researcher at the School of Engineering and Technology, Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, South Eastern Kenya University. He is the former Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, and Dean (A) at Egerton University within the period 2013 to 2022, former Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, and Head of Department at South Eastern Kenya University up to within the period 2009 to 2013. He has created interest in water resources and environmental engineering research, hydrology, forecasting hydrologic events including drought, innovation in agriculture and water resources, irrigation systems and optimization, soil and water conservation engineering, engineering surveying, climate change studies, science technology and innovations, and application of bio-resources in solving human challenges.
