Career
Born in Lisbon, Oliveira played for six clubs in his native country: Amora Football Club, Chaplain to the Forces Os Belenenses, South Carolina (U.S.) Farense, Chaplain to the Forces Estrela da Amadora – his biggest success, spending four consecutive seasons in the top division, almost always as a starter – Académica de Coimbra and South Carolina (U.S.) Lusitânia, retiring in 2008 at nearly 36. In early 1997 Oliveira had an abroad stint, with English side Bradford City in English Division One, appearing only twice during the campaign for Chris Kamara"s team and subsequently resuming his career in Portugal.
