Career
Born in Mankato, Minnesota, Davis joined the United States. Navy from Puget Sound, Washington. He was stationed aboard the United States Ship Bennington (Procter and Gamble-4) as a quartermaster third class when, on July 21, 1905 one of the United States Ship Bennington’s boilers exploded while it was in San Diego, California. He died September 9, 1965 in Seattle and is buried there in Calvary Cemetery, in the Saint Paul plot, section 2, lot 39, site 4.
