Kingshott was a left-handed batsman who bowled slow left-arm orthodox. Kingshott made his debut for Norfolk in the 1987 MCCA Knockout Trophy against Suffolk. Kingshott played Minor counties cricket for Norfolk from 1987 to 1992, which included 50 Minor Counties Championship matches and 11 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.
He made his List A debut against Yorkshire in the 1990 National Westminster Trophy.
