She is also the author of Manifesto: Foreign Abstractionists and Friends of the Non-Objective. She currently works as a Professor of Painting at the Pasadena City College and has previously lectured at numerous colleges including Columbia University, Bard College, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California"s School of Fine Arts, and the University of Chicago. Morris has exhibited at 2014 Whitney Biennial (New York), The Kunstmuseum Saint Gallen (Switzerland), Friedrich Petzel (New York), The Hessel Art Museum (New York), The Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago), and Night Gallery (Los Angeles).
