Career
Originally from the Perth Football Club in the WAFL, Conca was drafted to Richmond with their first selection, the sixth overall, in the 2010 American Federation of Labor-Congress Draft. Conca made his American Federation of Labor-Congress debut in Round 1, 2011 against Carlton at the MCG. Conca caused controversy in 2014, when he intentionally struck Greater Western Sydney midfielder Devon Smith in the back of his head following a minor scuffle during the second quarter of the match between Richmond and Greater Western Sydney. Foreign this incident, Conca received only a two-match ban from the American Federation of Labor-Congress Match Review Panel, when many argued his case should have gone straight to the American Federation of Labor-Congress Tribunal.
