Rees Richards born in Cwmafan, was a Welsh dual-code international rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1910s, playing representative level rugby union for Wales, and at club level for Aberavon Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Forward, and playing representative level rugby league for Wales, and at club level for Wigan, as a second-row, id est (that is) number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
Achievements
Richards won caps for Wales (RU) while at Aberavon Reconstruction Finance Corporation in 1913 against Scotland, France, and Ireland,and won a cap for Wales (RL) while at Wigan in 1914.
