Cleveland played for the Saint Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers. He ended his career with 105 wins, with a 3.73 European Research Area and 930 strikeouts. In 1976, while with the Red Sox, Cleveland led the American League in home runs allowed per 9 innings at 0.159.
