Studied at King’s College, and by late Dean Plumptre. Studied architecture under R. Norman Shaw, R.A., and painting under Lefevre and Bouguereau, Paris.
Worked for Graphic and Daily Graphic. Exhibits at Royal Academy, Royal Society of Painters in Water Colours, and New Gallery. Painted twice for the late Queen and King Edward.
Travelled in Italy, Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunis, Egypt, India, Persia, Asia Minor, etc. Works chiefly at Oriental life and architecture, such as Abu Simbel for late Khedive, The Mooled Alimadee, and Courtyard of Ducal Palace, Venice, in Manchester Corporation Gallery. Has published drawings in colour, Venice, Egypt, etc.
