Career
Entered War Office as Clerk of the Higher Division of the Civil Service. 1884; Private Secretary to Lords Sandhurst and Monkswell when Parliamentary Under-Secretaries of State for War, and to Mr. Powell Williams, Member of Parliament, when Financial Secretary at War Office, 1892-1896.
Secretary War Office Council, 1901-1904. Secretary and Registrar Distinguished Service Order, 1906. Justice of the Peace, County of London; the Assistant-Secretary, War Office, since 1904.
