Has been instrumental in raising some thousands of pounds for forward Church work, including erection of churches and parish halls. Chairman of Committees in Ballarat Diocesan Synod since 1901. Took part in securing Federal Provident Fund for Diocesan clergy.
Is member General Synod of Australia and Principal Boards, Diocese of Ballarat. Member Royal Society of St. George. Vicar of Maryborough since 1906; Canon of Ballarat Cathedral since 1895; Archdeacon of the Loddon since 1906.
