Education
Mr Regional Gulley graduated in 1987 from Hervey Bay Senior College. He studied for a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Queensland 1988–1990. In 2015 he was awarded a Fellowship of Certified Public Accountants Australia.

Before being elected in 2012 Mr Gulley worked for more than 20 years as a business manager in the corporate and not-for-profit sector, employing more than 100 staff He was responsible for property development and maintenance, Information Technology, Human Resources/payroll, accounting and government reporting. He held senior accounting roles in London, Sydney and Brisbane including treasury roles with Morgan Stanley, Westpac and Suncorp and Financial Controller roles in Finance and Manufacturing/ Distribution.
Mr Gullley is a patron of: Deception Bay PCYC Redcliffe Show Society Mango Hill Progress Association North Lakes Leopards Junior Rugby Deception Bay Rugby League Mr Gulley enjoys cycling and state forest camping.
