E.C., Reji was born on November 23, 1957 in North Parur, Kerala, India. Son of Chinnappan Vareed Edappillikulangara and Elamma Chinnappan.

  • Achievements include first to Improvement of workover efficiency in ERBC, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation from 3.4 wells/rig/year in 1982-1983 to 7.2 wells/rig/year in 1985-1986. First to Trouble Shooting in various areas like sludge problem / LPG plant operations in India, Modification of casing policy, testing methodology & Improvisation of acidization for deep wells in Kuwait. First to Utilization of wells lying idle for substantal period, and production of oil from them by judicious workover operations, both in Kuwait and India.

    First to Identification of hydrocarbon in some structures lying unexploited for a long time / extension of some already delineated structures, in India.
