Ayodele was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Oklahoma. He is the younger brother of NFL linebacker Akin Ayodele.
He is of Nigerian descent.
Ayodele went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft, but signed as a free agent, first to the New England Patriots, then the Baltimore Ravens, and then to the Dallas Cowboys practice squad before being released in November 2006. After being released he was then re-signed by the Dallas Cowboys to a two-year deal.

After being cut by the Dallas Cowboys in the summer of 2007, he signed with Atlanta Falcons. Second stint with Cowboys
After being cut by Atlanta in September 2007, he was immediately re-signed and re-sessioned by the Dallas Cowboys to serve as a backup to Jay Ratliff, who was changing positions to starting nose tackle after Jason Ferguson suffered a season-ending injury.
Ayodele was cut on December 11, 2007.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints waived him on November 11, 2008. He was re-signed to the practice squad the following week. On October 4, 2009 Ayodele scored his first touchdown after defensive lineman Will Smith (American football) forced Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez to fumble.
Ayodele recovered the ball and returned it for a touchdown.
On January 24, 2010 he recovered a fumble in the NFC Championship Game. Minnesota Vikings
Ayodele signed a three-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings on July 28, 2011.
He was released on March 21, 2012. Second stint with Saints
On May 7, 2012, Ayodele returned to the Saints with a one-year contract.
On August 27, 2012, Ayodele was cut by the Saints.
Ayodele has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and Minnesota Vikings.
