Career
He served the International Olympic Committee since his entry in 1995 representing Cuba. He also served numerous international sports administrations, often as president or similarly high-ranking official He had a bachelor in pedagogical sciences.
Degree in social sciences.
He enjoyed practicing baseball, softball, volleyball and angling. He died in Mexico City on 4 July 2015 at the age of 66.
