Rhodri earned and Master of Arts (Oxfordshire) and Bachelor of Philosophy (Oxfordshire) from University College, Oxford.
Career
Education and Thomson was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 1989. He was member Monckton Chambers 1990-2000. Thomson was appointed Queen"s Counsel in 2002.
Rhodri is a specialist in competition law and European Community law.
He is also a recognised leader in public law and sports law. Described as “the star competition lawyer”, Rhodri “has an enviable reputation for handling the thorniest of European Union and competition issues..he is an extremely attractive advocate as he assimilates huge amounts of information easily, and presents responses in a superbly coherent way”.
