Career
He received a Doctor of Philosophy from Princeton University in 1998, and lectured at the University of Sheffield up until 2001, before taking up a research fellowship at the Australian National University in Canberra. In 2006 he took up an international senior research fellowship at the University of Sydney, and in 2010 he accepted a professorship at Victoria University of Wellington. His major works include The Myth of Morality (2001) and The Evolution of Morality (2006).
