Career
Taylor served on three Standing Committees of the Legislative Assembly, during his time in office, with a particular interest in Committees dealing with "Natural Resources, Wildlife and Mining" and "Highways and Transport". Prior to his election, he founded Taylor Hardware, a retail business in New Liskeard, Ontario and he had was involved in a variety of mining ventures. He was also actively involved in the expansion of telecommunication services throughout northeastern Ontario.
Taylor served as a Trustee on the school board and he was a Director on the Board of Temiskaming Hospital in New Liskeard, Ontario.
Taylor died on vacation in Bermuda.
