Career
A former player in the British rugby league National League One, being voted young player of the year, before moving to Super League club Hull. Although Whiting Signed for Hull as a Stand-off, he plays a utility role in the squad and has covered positions such as stand-off, centre, wing and fullback. Whiting played for Hull at centre in the 2005 Challenge Cup final, scoring a try in the victory over the Leeds Rhinos.
Hull reached the 2006 Super League Grand final to be contested against Street Helens RLFC and Whiting played from the interchange bench in his side"s 4-26 loss.
In 2016, Richard moved to on a 2 month loan from Hull after falling down the pecking order after Hull"s strong recruitment.
