Division superintendent, 1897-1899.

General superintendent, 1899-1902. Assistant general manager, 1902-1906.

General manager lines east of Missouri River, 1906-1910. Vice president in charge of operation and maintenance, October 20, 1900-December 1914.

President C.&North.W. Railway, May 23, 1916-February 1920.

Director western division rys., under United States Government, January 1918-February 1920. Became president American Railway Association, 1920. Retired October 1935.

Became chairman of the executive committee Association of Railway Executives, 1924.

Became general chairman Presidents’ Conference Committee on Federal Valuation of Railroads in the United States, 1929. Home: 1501 Hinman Avenue, Evanston, Illinois.
