Began in retail jewelry store, Kansas City, 1889, later in employ Mississippi River Commission, and in railroad business, Cincinnati. Became connected with Chemical National Bank, Saint Louis, 1893, and in 1897 with its successor, the Third National Bank, of which was elected vice president, 1911. Third National Bank consolidated, July 1919, with new First National Bank, of which is senior vice president
