Studied at Kilkenny College. Trinity College, Dublin.

Career

Entered Office of Paymaster of Civil Services, Dublin Castle, 1859; Paymaster-General’ General’ s Office, London, 1861. His (or Her) Majesty Inspector of Factories, 1869. His (or Her) Majesty Superintending Inspector for Scotland and Ireland, 1895.

His (or Her) Majesty Senior Superintending Inspector, London, 1902.

Retired, 1905. Justice of the Peace.
