Career

National Basketball Association World Featherweight Championship

On November 18, 1941 Lemos lost his Championship by a very disputed decision to Jackie Wilson. In 1989 Richie was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame.

Achievements

• He was also a former National Basketball Association World Featherweight Champion. In his first attempt Richie won the World Featherweight Championship by upsetting Petey Scalzo by T.K.O. in the seventh round.
