Career
Rick got his start in stand-up comedy in the Washington, District of Columbia area in 1992 while still in college at the University of Maryland. Since starting in the world of stand-up comedy, Rick has performed with many of the top names in comedy and has made television appearances on Black Entertainment Television"s "ComicView" and "Teen Summit," FOX"s "30 Seconds to Fame," "Showtime at the Apollo," and National Broadcasting Company"s "Last Comic Standing". Stand-up comedy has opened many doors for Rick, doors which have led to an acting career in theatre, commercials, television, and film.
Rick was in the National Tour of Rent (musical) (2001–2002).

He is a regular correspondent on the "Guys Tell All" monthly segment on National Broadcasting Company"s The Today Show. In 2010, he appeared in the film Morning Glory, featuring Harrison Ford, Rachel McAdams, Diane Keaton, and Jeff Goldblum.
