Career
He is best known as the former lead vocalist for the Oakland, California based deathcore band. Ricky joined deathcore band in 2008. He replaced former vocalist Jared Armitage.
He provided vocals on two studio albums with the band.
The first was released in 2010 under the title Number Mercy, Number Forgiveness. The second, released in 2011, was titled Return to Despair.
On May 2, 2012 Hoover announced that he had left the band citing that it was in the best interest of everyone. He was replaced by Matthew Aaron Scott Krawchuk on April 8, 2013.
