Career
Seized successively as auditor of Hayashikane Shoten (Store), director of Taiyo Whaling Company, managing director of Hayashikane Store and Hayashikane Kogyo Kaisha (Hayashikane Industrial Company), vice-president and then president of Hayashikane Shipbuilding Company and thereafter became vice-president of Taiyo Gyogyo Kaisha (Taiyo Fishery Company) (since 1950). Holds additional posts of chairman of Shimonoseki Chamber of Commerce & Industry, director of Japan Cham¬ber of Commerce & Industry and chairman of Yamaguchi Prefectural League of Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
