Career
In 2010, Boyd"s musical talents attracted the attention of Sir Tim Rice who included Boyd"s songs "Oh Alaska" and "New Hampshire" in his British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 2 series American Pie. During this time, Boyd released a number of singles and EPs which have received positive reviews and in May 2014 released his debut album So Called Manitoba Although Boyd does do solo performances, he is often accompanied by his band.
In 2015 Boyd began writing and performing with several individual female artists including Katey Brooks, Lledra and Persephone.
Boyd has played at a number of events and festivals in the United Kingdom and overseas and has sold out several headline shows in London including The Borderline, The Barfly and Bush Hall. He has been played on various British Broadcasting Corporation radio stations, including Graham Norton"s show on British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 2 and appeared twice on television playing live on Independent Television"s This Morning.
Boyd plays a number of musical instruments, including the Okinawan sanshin.
