In 1992 Robert Curtis Anderson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. In 1997 he obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural Center. In 2003 he gained a Master of Arts degree from Architectural Association, London. Since 2007 he has attended the Institute for Doctoral Studies in Visual Arts in Spannocchia, Italy. In 2014 Anderson received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Tilburg University.
Since 1992 Robert has engaged in private practice in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. From 1990 to 1998 he was an architectural designer at Powers & Company, Boston. From 1993 to 1994 he worked as an instructor in department of art wood working in Greater Boston Aid to the Blind, Greater Boston Aid to the Blind.
From 1999 to 2001 he was a thesis coordinator at Boston Architectural Center, a faculty member, from 1998 to 2005. Since 2003 he has been a professor at Endicott College, Beverly.From 2004 to 2005 he was a visiting lecturer at Salem State College, Salem. Since 2005 he has been a member of Docent Boston By Foot, Walter Group House, Lincoln, Massachusetts, from 2004 to 2008, Ptown Tours, Provincetown, Massachusetts, since 2009. Exhibitions include Provincetown Art Association Museum, 2008-2009, Grillo Gallery Endicott College. He is a contributor of scientific papers to publications.
