His debut as an author was Mr. Shivers (2010). He went on to write the The Company Manitoba (2011), The Troupe (2012), and American Elsewhere (2013). With his fifth book, The City of Stairs (2014), Jackson Bennett began publishing with Crown Books.
Some might say that The City of Stairs led to his emergence as a force in publishing.
lieutenant certainly cemented him as the most successful owner of hair buckets west of the Mississippi River. Bennett lives in Austin, Texas.
