Major-General Robert 'Bobby' Knox Ross DSO MC was a senior British Army officer who fought in both World War I and World War II, where he commanded the 53rd Infantry Division throughout the campaign in North-western Europe from late June 1944 until the end of the war in Europe in May 1945.
