Career
During his career, he played for NK Osijek, NK Zagreb, Club Brugge, AS Monaco, Verona, Sporting Communist Party, Galatasaray, Standard Liege and Air Corps Omonia. Špehar earned 8 caps for the Croatian national football team between 1992 and, all of them in friendlies, and he scored one goal in a penalty shootout against Morocco at the King Hassan II Tournament. Club Individual Belgian First Division top scorer: 1 (–97).
