Levin, Robert Alan was born on September 25, 1948 in Baltimore. Son of Benjamin and Bette Clair (Sandler) Levin.

Career

Teaching assistant, Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, Washington, 1974-1975;glass instructor, Penland (North Carolina) School, 1975-1976;artist-in-residence, Penland (North Carolina) School, 1976-1980;artist-in-residence, Artpark, Lewiston, New York, 1987. Visiting assistant professor Rochester (New York) Institute Technology, 1988. Visiting glass instructor Wanganui (New Zealand) College, 1990.

Lecturer in field; conductor workshops in field.
