Foy, Robert Cherry was born on August 20, 1876 in Eufaula, Alabama, United States. Son of William Humphrey and Mary Louise (Wilson) Foy.

Education

Bachelor of Science, Alabama Polytechnic Institute, 1894. Graduated from the United States Military Academy, 1899, Mounted Service School, Fort Riley, Kansas, 1915. Distinguished graduated from Army School of the Line, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 1916.

Graduate General staff schedul, 1922, Army War College, 1923.

Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant United States Army, February 15, 1899. Promoted through grades to brigadier general, March 1, 1935.

Since righteousness is demanded of God, one needs to know how to receive lieutenant It is received through faith. It is having faith in God.

Politics

All human life is sacred and created by God and therefore, we must see all human life as significant and valuable. When governments implement the death penalty, then the life of the convicted person is devalued and all possibility of change in that person’s life ends.
