Career

Contracting engineer and owner New Zealand Engineering Works until 1895. Engaged in mining in California, 1896, and later introduced first successful gold dredge into California. Dredge designer and chief of construction for Risdon Iron Works, San Francisco, 1905-1911.

Manager mining department Union Iron Works, 1911-1913. Home: Coachella, Riverside County, California.
