Fortune, Robert Jones was born on August 12, 1921 in King's Mountain, North Carolina, United States. Son of William Lavender and Tempie Ellen (Jones) Fortune.

Student, Wake Forest University, 1940—1942. Bachelor of Science in Textile Chemistry, North Carolina State University, 1949.

Career

Junior chemist Eastman Chemical Products Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Kingsport, Tennessee, 1949—1951, chemist, 1952—1959, senior chemist, 1960—1976, manager, customer service for dyes, since 1976. With United States Army, 1943-1945, European Theatre of Operations.

Religion

God never intended nor desired for a single person to go to Hell. Sin caused a separation between God and man, and that Jesus’ death on the cross is the only bridge to cross from death to life. This bridge, however, is accessible by anyone at anytime.
