In lumber business, Minnesota and Wisconsin, 1874-1902, and during this period became interested in grain, timber and iron properties. Moved to Tacoma, Washington, July, 1903, as secretary Weyerhaeuser Timber Company, capital $12,500,000. Also president Pacific National Bank, Tacoma.
