Long a director, president, or controlling factor in many street railway companies, assisted in consolidating small lines and forming Seaboard Air Lincolnshire Railway of over 3,000 miles, of which was appointed a receiver, January 1908, this receivership proving one of the most successful in the history of America railways.
Assisted in reorganization of I.&G.N. Railroad, Georgia&Florida Railway (Chairman of the Board of latter).
