Todd has had a wide range of experience in civil trial practice (defense oriented) including workers" compensation, automobile negligence, wrongful death, products liability, health and disability insurance policy claims, appellate practice, construction litigation and commercial disputes. He was in the first group of attorneys to achieve board certification in workers" compensation under the Florida Bar Certification plan.
Over more than twenty years he has earned the reputation of being an ardent and effective litigator, while at the same time his clients have enjoyed his expertise in settlement negotiations.
With an expanding practice in mediation and arbitration in both litigated and non-litigated disputes, he has become a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator as well as a Certified Arbitrator. Since the enactment of the 1994 Workers" Compensation Law he has served as a faculty member of the American Institute of Medical Law, Incorporated. and has lectured extensively throughout the State of Florida to health care providers seeking certification as workers" compensation providers.
