Engaged as mining engineer, 1875. Company surveyor, Elko Company, Nevada, 1876. Superintendent Navajo Mining Company, Tuscarora, November 1880.

Superintendent Victorine Gold Mining Company, 1882. Superintendent Navajo, Belle Isle, N. Belle Isle, N. Commonwealth and Del Monte mines (Tuscarora), and, 1893, of Commonwealth and Nevada Queen mines (Tuscarora). General manager (under John Hays Hammond), of 8 deep level mines, Johannesburg, Transvaal, 1895-1906.

General superintendent New Jersey Zinc Company, 1906-1930. Vice president Sussex County Trust Company, Franklin, New Jersey Acting construction engineering of the Consolidated Gold Fields of South Africa, Ltd. Home: Oakland, Calif.
