Vice president Combustion Engineering Company, 1933-1940. President, director Air Preheater Corporation, since 1940, Chairman of the Board since 1956. Director Apra Precipitator Corporation Trustee village and town of Scarsdale, New York, 1945-1947.

Formerly member Executive Committee United States National Common for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Past member Engineers Joint Council. Member of advisory commission on international technologic assistance National Research Council.
