(The tooth fairy is drawn to teeth. Anthropologist Fred C....)
The tooth fairy is drawn to teeth. Anthropologist Fred C. Service of the University, and Ms. Ethel Floradine, Gopher Gulch s rural school teacher who helps the professor in the summers, have unearthed two big blobs up at The Thunder Flats Dig. The professor is sure the blobs amount to something. But what? The play's hero, the tooth fairy, knows what the blobs are, and so does the villain of the play, Unthaw, also drawn to The Thunder Flats Dig because of the discovery. Unthaw intends to bring on his forthcoming meteor storm and ice age. The Tooth Fairy pleads with Unthaw, to call off his cosmic storm. A bet is made. If any sane adult human will say to the tooth fairy s face that he really does exist, a human such as Ms. Ethel Floradine, Unthaw will call off his asteroids.
