Educated at Ingress House Schools, Gravesend, England. Entered Royal Academy of Arts, 1875. Graduate at London, 1879.

Career

Passed art. examination Royal Institute British Architects. Came to New York, 1881, and began practice. Retired; architect of Albany Cathedral, United States Trust Company’s Bank Clearing House, Greenwich Savings Bank, Coffee Exchange, Botanical Museum, New York.

Bank buildings at Buffalo, Albany, Utica and Syracuse, New York, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Providence, Rhode Island, and elsewhere.
