Career
Vidal was a banker by profession. He would eventually serve as a senior vice president of a major bank in Peru. In February 1970, the first stake in Peru, which had just over 10,000 members, was organized with Vidal as president
The stake was organized by church Apostle Gordon B. Hinckley and A. Theodore Tuttle.
Vidal later served as a Regional Representative of the Twelve starting in 1976. From 1985 to 1988, Vidal was the president of the Ecuador Quito Mission of the church.
In 1988, he was serving as the recorder for the Lima Peru Temple. Vidal died in 1989.
