Career
Sears joined the Earnscliffe Strategy Group, relocating to Ottawa in 2012. Sears had been a partner at Navigator and Ensight Limited since 2004. As a public affairs consultant, Sears has worked on Merger and acquisition transactions in transportation, finance, and resources, and on reputation management projects in healthcare, retail, and in the film and television industry, amongst others
Sears acted as spokesman for Brian Mulroney.
Sears began his career as News Editor under Moses Znaimer at the launch of CITY-television in Toronto in 1972. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business Accredited Mortgage Professional program
His father Val Sears was an editor of the Toronto Star.
