He was the only non-British actor on the show. A devout Christian, in 1992 he moved to Scotland and spent 11 years doing youth work with charity Scripture Union in Fife. Between 2002 and 2005 he appeared in Balamory in the role of Spencer, a painter and musician.
He appeared as a security guard in the 2009 film New Town Killers.
Christensen is married and has two daughters, one of whom is pornographic actress Skin Diamond. In 2009, he was employed as a bus driver for Stagecoach Group with their Fife operations.
He left the company in 2013 when he, after living in Fife for 21 years, moved back to Las Vegas with his family. He is a keen photographer.
