He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has represented Team United States of America in the Mosconi Cup on eight occasions. He was the Mosconi Cup Most Valuable Player in 2004.
In July 2007, Rodney Morris was designated as the United Pool Players Association (Universal Postal Union) Lead Player Representative.
